The Spark

It all started with a dream — a love for fashion, strong coffee, and a bold idea. Back in 2019, Nuvia was just a vision on a vision board. Between part-time jobs and styling mates for fun, the spark for something bigger grew stronger. We wanted to create a brand that English women could feel themselves in — effortless, confident, and real.

Working from the kitchen table in a small Brisbane flat, the first steps were taken: trend research, sourcing unique pieces, and learning everything about running a business. It was hustle, heart and a whole lotta late nights.

A slow start, but we never lost the spark

When NuviaFashion.com launched in 2022, we were full of hope — but it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Sales were slow, the traffic was quiet, and doubts crept in. Like many small start-ups, we hit that rough patch where nothing seemed to click.

But we didn’t stop. We refined our collections, reworked our website, reached out to local creators, and kept showing up — one post, one customer, one order at a time. What kept us going? Belief. We believed in the brand, in the women we wanted to serve, and in the style we were building.
